Our world is full of powers that demand to exert their influence over us: governments, big businesses, celebrity gurus, Instagram influencers, let alone the spiritual forces of sin, death, and the devil.

But in Matthew 8-11, we come face-to-face with the supreme authority and power of the true king of the world: the Lord Jesus Christ. His kingdom is coming on a direct collision-course with all the power structures of our world that vie for our allegiance. As these collisions unfold, we’re invited to ask ourselves:

Who are we going to trust? Who will we follow?
