elementor-size-default\">Our leaders are trained in Safe Ministry<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-55157dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"55157dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Kids and youth leaders at St Paul\u2019s have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and have completed the Safe Ministry Essentials Course.<\/p><p>The Safe Ministry course is our Diocese\u2019s best practice in equipping those working with children (and other vulnerable people) with the knowledge and understanding they need to build a culture of safe ministry. The Anglican Diocese of Sydney requires all people working in ministry to children and youth, including ministers and assistant ministers, to complete Safe Ministry Essentials. Contents include:<\/p><ul><li>Identifying and appointing appropriate leaders for Christian ministry<\/li><li>Safe practices to protect vulnerable people<\/li><li>Recognising and reporting abuse<\/li><li>Providing a safe environment for everyone<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f776840 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f776840\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96c17db elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"96c17db\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Our leaders stay up-to-date with their Safe Ministry Training<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-45c067d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"45c067d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After completing the Safe Ministry Essentials training, ministers, assistant ministers and kids and youth leaders must complete Safe Ministry Refresher training every three years.
